Alexander Valley Association collaborates with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department to oversee and protect the neighbors and citizens of the Alexander Valley.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office takes crime reports within Sonoma County but outside of city limits, deals with stolen and/or abandoned cars and boats, and ag access programs to name a few very important services.

Sheriff's Office is responsible for primary law enforcement services of the unincorporated areas including Alexander Valley. 

Sheriff Eddie Engram was elected June of 2022 as the Sonoma County’s 35th elected Sheriff and took office January 2, 2023.

AG PASSES

Ag Access Verification Cards (Ag Passes) may be available to applicants that are owner/operators or direct, full-time employees of a commercial agricultural operation.  Applicant must have a working knowledge of the operation’s agricultural property and essential infrastructure.  Please visit the County of Sonoma Agriculture Access Verification Card Program site to learn more about the program and apply for your Ag Pass.
